Disney Princess Costume - Great Fun for Dress Up and Halloween!

At some time in their life, every girl will want to wear a gorgeous Disney princess costume. They watch the movies about Cinderella, Belle, Princess Tiana, and Snow White. Dressing up in a Disney princess costume is a rite of passage. Children are excited and enchanted with pretend. Having them wear the outfit of a princess helps them feel that much closer to being a princess.

Disney princess costumes can be used for the yearly Halloween trick or treat, but girls love to play dress up. As a child, I spent hours with friends acting out plays of Snow White and Cinderella. My friends and I took turns being the princess and the evil witch. Your child will not feel like they aren't quite right for the part because they have dark hair. There are plenty of dark haired princesses now.

It is simple to make a Princess Costume. You just need to think pretty. You can choose a pattern online or you can assemble a beautiful outfit yourself. One of the key ingredients is sparkle. Make sure the dress looks nice. You can embellish it with rhinestones, lace or glitter to turn an ordinary dress into a princess costume. You may also want to purchase some pretty slippers or a wand to complete the outfit.
